Preston is an ETX native and has spent over 15 years serving in church or para-church non-profit organizations like Pine Cove and Mentoring Alliance. Preston is a UT Tyler graduate with a B.A. in Business Administration and also received his M.A. in Christian Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2018. Preston is husband to Alayna and father to Oliver and Eden. Preston's passion is the good news of Jesus and his mission is to equip men and women to lead lives of faith and obedience.

Men's Director
Born and raised in Tyler, Texas, Braden has called Boathouse home since 2019. This ministry has shaped him more deeply than anything else in his life. What started out as lake days & Bible study turned into an internship with Boathouse Ministry. Now, Braden serves as the Men’s Director, where he gets to care for volunteers, lead Bible studies, and walk alongside students in discipleship.
Chloe Burleson
Executive Administrator
Chloe graduated from UT Tyler with a B.B.A. in Marketing and went into the staffing industry before joining the Boathouse team full time in 2025. She has volunteered with Boathouse since 2021 and loves getting to serve with her community, including her church family at Grace UB!

Lane Murray (Board Chair)
Lane (aka Daddy Boathouse) has been involved with Boathouse since 2019. You might find Lane saying things like "you can't make it up" or "Go God!"
Brandon Bratloff
Brandon "Biebs" is a founding member of Boathouse. He continues to disciple guys & invite Jesus into things he loves to do, like being out on the lake!
Kelly Borah
Kelly has been serving at Boathouse since the early days. She is a mentor and friend to many of the young ladies at Boathouse.
Brad Burns
Brad is a long-time volunteer and a pillar of our Boathouse crew! He hosts our men's Bible Study every week.
Jim Trail
Jim and his wife, Heather, have been faithfully serving at Boathouse for several years, from driving golf carts to parking cars and everything in between!
